Welcome to Helperby Village Hall

What we do and who we are
The current village hall was constructed in 1999, and is located just off Main Street in Helperby, adjacent to the War Memorial. It's run by the trustees and members who are all volunteers. The hall, which is well used by the whole community, has two principal rooms — the Main Hall (16.5m x 9.0m), and the Waud Room (9.0m x 6.2m) — which house an extensive range of activities, including dance lessons, badminton, Keep Fit, Mums & Tots plus yoga sessions, watercolours and poetry appreciation groups. It also hosts Parish Council, Women’s Institute, christening and children’s birthday parties, dances, and wedding receptions, not to mention Helperby Beer Festival! The hall acts as a polling station from time and to time and is hired by external bodies for training days and seminars. Please contact us to discuss booking our fantastic venue.
